Royal City Restaurant Maynooth

Royal City Korean in Maynooth is a fantastic spot for seriously tasty food. We had the Jeyuk and the Chicken Katsu, both around €15, and the portions and quality were excellent. I really like that the mains come with extras like dumplings and spring rolls on the side — it makes the meal feel great value and nicely varied.
I’ve also tried their spice box, and it might genuinely be the best I’ve had. The mix of crispy chicken, dumplings, and other bits makes it stand out from the usual versions. The only downside is that the sauce portion can be a bit skimpy.
Takeaway is always quick and reliable, and I’ve eaten in as well. It can be a little cold inside during winter, but the food more than makes up for it. The chicken in particular is next level.

It’s a pretty good restaurant. The whole family all love the tasty food very much. Kids like delicious Cheese Dog.It’s a great experience.

The waiter we had was so kind and super respectful. The food was served quickly and was so fresh and piping hot. Definitely recommend the fried chicken options, the battered octopus balls and the potato corn dog. So good and will definitely go again! The staff in general were super pleasant!
